Kiev International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) is the private Ukrainian research company, founded in 1992. Director of KIIS, Volodymyr Paniotto, has been the National Representative of ESOMAR in Ukraine since 2000.
KIIS is the public opinion and marketing research institute (using all kinds of quantitative and qualitative methods, particularly, face-to-face interviews, focus-groups, in-depth interviews, retail audit etc.). KIIS is the developer and distributor of software for sociologists (KIIS also distributes and provides training in data entry and analysis using software OCA).
KIIS has representatives (local brigades) in 24 oblasts of Ukraine and the Crimea. The Institute’s survey network (about 400 interviewers) allows conducting random sample surveys representative both for Ukraine as a whole, and for its separate regions.
KIIS has a special three-rooms premise for conducting focus-groups, which is equipped by mirror-like windows and audio and video technique (the middle room is for participants, side rooms – for clients and observers).

IGPI is one of the first non-state research institutes. It was created in 1990 on the basis of Moscow Public Bureau of Information Exchange (M-BIO). Well-known scientists and politicians Vladimir Guelman, Sergey Mitrohin, Galina Liuhterhandt-Mihaleva were among its founders. Viacheslav Igrunov became head of the Institute.
Higher sociological courses, Moscow school of political studies, and "YABLOKO" bloc were created with the assistance of IGPI.
A number of important political and educations programs, including Political Monitoring and Educational Center, were realized in the framework of the Institute.
FEP works in the sphere of political consulting, organization and conduct of election campaigns, interaction with mass media, creation and maintenance of media-projects on the Internet.
FEP provides information and analytical services to state, public and commercial structures interested in increasing the effectiveness of their information policy, does complex work in the sphere of planning, management and conduct of election and propaganda campaigns, provides information and analytical support for media-projects, creates and maintains different information recourses on the Internet.
