On April 17, Ambassador of U.S. Carlos Paskual visited KCPSC. Also came the adviser of embassy in political questions Jason Highland.
American diplomats were informed on basic directions of activity of the KCPSC and sphere of scientific and political interests of its employees.
The multivolume edition of KCPSC "Political chronicles" containing basic events of the newest political history of Ukraine since 1993 and till today are analyzed was submitted to attention of the guests.
Results of last sociological researches concerning the attitude of Ukraine citizens to war in Iraq were presented to U.S. Ambassador. The American diplomat also was informed on disturbing impression which was made on the Ukrainian public opinion with the facts of barbarous plunder of Baghdad & Basra.
Further conversation concentrated on discussion of the current political situation in Ukraine. Participants discussed the questions connected to the project of political reform.
The ambassador of United States has familiarized with results of last sociological researches concerning the attitude of ukrainians to war in Iraq.
